Hello Everyone!

I’ve had a wonderful vacation!  The walks, playtimes with friends, the love and attention.  But one part of my vacation doesn’t get enough attention, so I, Blaze food critic to the dogs, will remedy that.  Here are my thoughts on the FOOD!

Pizza with winter squash, cypress grove midnight moon cheese, sausage, mushroom.  The cheese made the pizza!  Very flavorful.  Could have had bigger portions.

Teriyaki steak, grilled to perfection with sticky rice.  A twist on traditional steak, with the teriyaki adding an Asian flare.  Portions could have been bigger.

Sausage, egg and potato casserole with Gruyere cheese.  Yummy!  A perfect brunch meal.  Could have had seconds if that had been offered.

Moist meatloaf with David Price’s secret recipe.  Very moist and tasty!  Oh I’m salivating just thinking about it! Portions were small.

Four cheese lasagna.  Oh YEAH, I LOVE Italian!  Very tasty!  The smells when it was cooking were heavenly!  I think Scout got a bigger piece than I did.

In all, wonderful food.  I of course oversaw all the dish preparation and taste tested when needed.  My only complaint is that The Indigo Dog House needs to rethink portion size.  Can you say “supersize please”?  I love staying here and the great, wonderful food only adds to my enjoyment.  I think it’s time to have my humans start planning their next trip!
